We have 44 beautiful rooms and our staff is trained to provide the best service around. We have won numerous awards for hospitality including the Award of Excellence from Trip Advisor and the AAA triple diamond award. The City of Daytona has awarded us for our preservation and beautification efforts.

Storied Past, Bright Future
Historic and iconic Streamline Hotel has had many milestones over the years from The Birthplace of Stock Car Racing and Headquarters of the Women’s Auxiliary Army Corp during WWII to a more recent feature on Travel Channel’s Hotel Impossible. Streamline’s Art Deco architecture, Free Mason symbology and mysterious hotel safe add to her allure.

During renovations, a sealed tunnel entrance was discovered in the basement that used to lead directly to the beach.
The allure behind the tunnel includes stories of racing legends & locals stating drivers, mechanics, team owners, promoters & local elites would be escorted through the tunnel to the Streamline Hotel.
Later, A1A was widened to two lanes & the tunnel was sealed by the City of Daytona Beach.

Elevated History
Opened in 1940, the Streamline was a popular refuge for celebrities, race car drivers and even moonshine gangsters. Now, fully restored with Art Deco style and elegance, its presence pays homage to a rich history and storied past. If our peppercorn-colored walls could talk, their most famous account would be in 1947 when Bill France Sr., numerous race car drivers, officials and promoters gathered at our rooftop bar to discuss rules, payments and various issues affecting the sport of stock car racing. After libations and deliberations, the meeting adjourned with a signed formation of what is now known as NASCAR, and the Birthplace of Stock Car Racing was forever cemented into our foundation.
